How to Get a Quick and Natural Look Make up

Here are a few quick tips to getting a great natural look with your makeup.

1. Use a concealer with a yellowish tint to it sparringly.  Concealer with a yellow tint will cover any imperfections without adding any unwanted color to your face.
2. Appy foundation that is right for your skin.  If you have to don't be afraid to mix foundations until you find the right shade that just "disappears".  For oily skin use a mineral foundation, it gives great coverage and helps with shine.
3. Apply eye makeup in earth tones. Beige, brown, golds or plum for shadows and brown and charcoal gray for liner.  But don't be afraid to grab your fav shadow just keep it light.  Skip liner or shadow entirely if you want to keep makeup light.

   Quick coat of brown or charchoal mascara
   
5. Don't forget blush.  Choose the color you get when you are a bit embarassed or flushed. :) Apply to apple of cheeks for a great dewy natural look.

A:  I use an aromatherapy idea: I slather lavender-scented cream on my hands before I go to bed. The scent is relaxing-scientific studies have shown that it helps with insomnia-and the cream helps to keep my hands soft.

Find Your Correct Bra Size

Here is how you can find your correct bra size.

While wearing a bra, wrap a tape measure


snugly around your rib cage, directly under

the bottom bra edge (see top picture at right).

The tape should be snug, but not tight.

■ Now, add 5 (for example, if you measure

29", add 5 = size 34).

■ If you measure over 33", add 3 = size 36.

If the total adds up to an odd number,

such as 37, try the next size up (size 38).

This is your bra number (32, 34, 36, etc.).

To get your cup size, measure over the fullest

part of the bust.  The difference between this

measurement and the bra number is your

cup size (see chart below):

If the difference is: Your cup size is:

Up to 1⁄2" = Nearly A Cup (NA)*

1" = A Cup

1-11⁄2" = Nearly B Cup (NB)*

2" = B Cup

2-21⁄2" = Nearly C Cup (NC)*

3" = C Cup

4" = D Cup

5" = DD Cup

6" = DDD Cup

Example: Your bra number is 36 and your bust measurement is 38.

Subtract 36 from 38 and you get a 2" difference. 2" = B cup.

Therefore, your correct bra size is 36B.

Fragrance Families

Florals-the most popular feminen fragrance family.  Floral notes are used in almost all women's fragrance and are the foundation of most perfumes.  There are many different types of florals or floral subfamilies.  Florals, Floral Fresh, Floral Woody, Fruity Floral, and Floral Chypre.
Citrus-fragrance in this family tend to more simplistic and at times linear in structure.  They are dominated by zesty citrus notes and are often described as fresh and clean.  There are 2 citrus subfamilies.  Citrus Fresh and Citrus Floral
Oriental-characterized as warm, sensual, exotic and long lasting.  Contains richer notes such as amber, opulent florals, vanilla, spices and woody notes.  There are many types of orientals ranging from fruity and bright to dark and spicy.  Also described as addictive and gourmand when they use sweeter notes such as chocolate.  Oriental subfamilies are Oriental Floral, Oriental Fruity, and Oriental Fresh.
Chypre-Dominant woody and mossy notes with florals. Patchouli and oakmoss are key ingrediants giving an earthy woody feeling. There are 2 subfamilies Chyper Floral and Chyper Fruity.
Woody-Based on woody notes such as sandalwood, cedarwood and vetiver.  These woody notes are blended with florals and other textures to make a more complete and balanced fragrance. Subfamilies are Woody Floral, Woody Fruity, Woody Fresh.

Avon Selling Tips

Here are a couple of tips for Avon reps.  One of the best things that you can do is try to hold a party about every 2 months especially around the holiday you might want to bump this up to 1 to 2 a month.  Why...because you can sell the most for just a little work.  The key is to have products grouped together and as gift sets.  This way you get the most out your selling potential.  Getting customers is the one of the most difficult things.  You should talk to everyone you can.  It is not as hard as it seems.  All you have to do is ask and if they say no then they say no.  Dont be pushy.  Browse through your catalogs in public when you can.  Use hand cream or hand sanitizer and ask if anyone would like some.  Try to leave a brochure everywhere you go.  Offer discounts for customers to get their friends to order.  Small things do help.  If you need any questions anwsered leave me a comment and your contact info and I will get back to you.  Have fun, dont stress.

My New Blog Ahhhhhhh!!!!!

So here is my new blog.  So daunting.  Well I should write somethin interesting right?  :) My blog will mostly be all things Avon.  I really love selling the stuff.  It is so easy and fun.  I have found that the best part of being an Avon rep is the friends that I make.  Plus it is great being your own boss.  I will be posting beauty and home tips, fun facts, tips on selling Avon, and general crazyness.  I hope everyone has fun.
